We were asked to create a bespoke 15ft Side-Opening Shipping Container with Electrified Roller Shutter for a plumbing Supply company.

Challenge:

Creating a Bespoke size container, whilst keeping the clean and unblemished work surface provided by a New 1-Trip 20ft Shipping Container.
Timely installation of the electrified shutter in collaboration with a 3rd party.
Matching aesthetics requirements byour clients.
Bespoke stickers with customers branding.

Solution:

Though this wasn't a hard project for us to undertake, it was slightly different due to the bespoke dimensions, tailored to meet both practical and aesthetic requirements. Starting with a brand-new 20ft 1-trip container, we cut it down to 15ft for a bespoke fit.

Our fabrication team first needed to cut down the container to the specified measurements which then needed to be matched by our 3rd party shutter supplier. This meant an element of collaboration was needed and solution sharing between the two parties.

The container, finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, includes a fully-opening electrified black roller shutter, offering convenient and secure access. As well as matching the aesthetic requirements made clear to us by our customer. The two colours worked perfectly together, giving a really clean industrial finish that fit perfectly into their working environment.

The side-opening feature and electrified shutter provide excellent versatility, ideal for various uses, while maintaining a sleek, modern appearance. This custom container showcases the adaptability of shipping containers, combining functionality with a high-end look. It allows for a wide range of racking or storage solutions or displays to be placed into the container without inhibiting the access required by our customer.
